Experts are increasingly expected to have strong communication skills. The ability to clearly explain one’s work to different stakeholders is now a core part of the job. A wise organization supports the development of its experts without trying to make everyone fit the same mold. We help each individual find a natural way and channel to share their expertise for the benefit of society.
What kind of coaching does Kaskas offer?
We provide targeted training sessions for groups, one-on-one coaching for key personnel facing demanding communication situations, and multi-session training programs that deepen the learning experience with pre- and in-between assignments and personalized feedback.
We offer coaching on topics such as:
Media training prepares participants for interviews and enhances understanding of how the media works.
Public speaking training focuses on how to make presentations as compelling and impactful as possible—both in content and delivery.
Expert presence on LinkedIn training teaches how to communicate and engage purposefully on LinkedIn.
The expert as a societal influencer training explores ways to participate in public discourse and provide knowledge to support decision-making.
The ABCs of sustainability training covers the key things your organization’s leaders need to understand about sustainability right now.
Project communication leadership training offers practical guidance on the full scope of communication in projects—from funding applications to project launch and implementation.
Who are Kaskas’ coaches?
Our inspiring trainers bring experience from media, interaction, public speaking, and communications across various roles and sectors. We prefer in-person training, but we also offer effective sessions via Teams, and all training is available in both Finnish and English.
What is Kaskas’ coaching philosophy?
Our coaching approach is encouraging and motivating. We highlight each individual’s strengths and personality—we don’t suppress uniqueness or fuel fear of public speaking. We always offer constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
What have we done?
We’ve trained over 100 top experts at VTT to become thought leaders in their own fields through a tailored coaching program.
We’ve coached researchers from the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), the University of the Arts Helsinki, and several SRC-funded projects on working with the media.
We’ve been a trusted training partner for the Universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä for several years, especially in regularly held public speaking trainings.
